Oppo BDP-105 player
purchased from previous owner due to their abandonment of playing discs after
some time and resulting sole use of streaming video sources.  From page 5 of the the unit's manual, it plays BD-Video discs marked Region Code A and DVD-Video discs marked Region Code 1 and ALL.  I used this unit to play maybe a couple dozen
DVDs and Blu-Ray discs before I similarly adopted their same pattern using my Apple
TV.  Several months ago I repackaged the
unit and carefully stored it in anticipation of moving of residence that hasn’t
happened so far.  I am only selling
because of its minimal use and to help pay off girlfriend’s bill for care outside
her health insurance network. When packaged, the player had been updated to the
latest firmware.  I can’t guarantee that
the case is perfectly smooth and free of minute surface defects since I haven’t
carefully examined but the player was carefully and meticulously cared for just
as I do for all my electronics.  The player
was never dropped or abused, and there aren’t any scratches, dings or similar
surface imperfections that I can see, and all functions work as
designed/intended.  It was always kept in
a pet-free, smoke-free, and child-free home environment on a teak wood
audio-video cabinet.  Everything included
as shown in photos and will be shipped in all original manufacturer packaging.  I will only ship to the continental United States to the buyer’s verified Paypal address with direct signature
confirmation by adult.  Once the player
has been successfully delivered, I will refund to the buyer through their
Paypal account the difference between the listed shipping price (maximum in
continental US) and the actual shipping price charged me by the UPS Store.  I have done my best to fairly and accurately describe the item in the
smallest detail in the interest of full disclosure.  Any scammer attempts (false claims of damage or non-delivery,
chargebacks, payment fraud, item swap etc. will be contested. Returns/refunds
will not be accepted/provided because:  1) As
a casual electronics user, I have no professional means of knowing how the item
was treated by the buyer or if the player was opened or tampered with in any
way.  2) The normal wear and tear of shipping a delicate electronics item like
this player could potentially damage it, and such damage will be covered by UPS
shipping insurance through their stated policy. I am a new member of Audiogon since Fall but haven't had any transactions to date.  I have been a member of Ebay for many years and have 100 percent rating with 158 positive ratings (would have probably had 20 more but the sellers failed to leave feedback) with zero negative ratings;  I would provide my Ebay identity but to comply with protocol cannot do that due to possibly being contacted about a listing outside the Ebay community.
