Magneplanar Magnepan 1.7 w/ MYE stands

MAGNEPAN MAGNEPLANAR
1.7 STEREO SPEAKERS with MYE stands,
MYE anti-vibration feet and sound absorbing rear panels. I have had these
highly regarded speakers for about 6 years, (bought new in 2013). They were in
my main system for 3 years, and then a second system until we moved to a
smaller house with just one listening room. Because I like "Maggies"
so much, I now have Magnepan 20.7 speakers. So, I am ready to let somebody else
enjoy the 1.7s. These are wonderfully accurate and musical speakers. As
Jonathon Valin said in his review (The
Absolute Sound #205):

1.7s are the most lifelike speakers I've heard in their price range--or
anywhere near it. I could live with them (and did) in a system that costs 100
times more than they themselves do. IMO, they're just plain great. Naturally,

 The
3-Way, Full-Range, Quasi-Ribbon Magnepan 1.7s are dipole speakers, with sound
coming from both the front and back of the speaker. Having the MYE stands ($580
new) makes them more rigid, and greatly improves the sound clarity and
transparency. In my experience with two sets of Maggies, they can also be
fairly sensitive to positioning within the room. In the first room that I had
these speakers, sound from the back side of the speakers needed to be dampened
down. Included in this package are two 2' x 4' sound absorbing panels from ATS
Acoustics which helped in my initial setup (see last photo).

These
speakers and additional components are in excellent condition. I am going to
say "9" on a 10-point scale simply because they are not new. These
speakers have no significant cosmetic (see pics) or operational defects, and they
sound wonderful. Always in a Smoke-free, Pet-free home. Buyer may auddition
these speakers in my system. Original shipping carton included. New price of
the Magnepan speakers is $1995 and Mye stands is $580. Reasonably priced at $1295
for speakers (with original shipping carton), Mye stands with anti-vibration
spikes, and sound damping panels. Cash or PayPal (buyer pays 2.9% PayPal fee) only. Local (Chicago area) pickup.
I may be able to have these delivered if the buyer is between Chicago and
Indianapolis for $100. Otherwise, contact me for other shipping arrangements (at
