KEF 104/2 Reference Floor-standing Loudspeakers

KEF's 104/2 is the model just under the flagship in the Reference series.  The  104/2 combines many of the familiar qualities of KEF speakers, a low degree of coloration, stable stereo imaging, a handsomely finished cabinet, with a design that's intended to provide the high efficiency and a wide-dynamic-range without the need for tons of power.   The 104/2 is known for its very neutral sound with precision imaging.  It uses an independent mid-range and tweeter, part of the reason its able to produce an extremely convincing soundstage. 

    
This is a trade-in, but in overall good condition. The real wood cabinets have been refinished and look better than the original bleached wood.  There are a few dings and chips that have been repaired.  All drivers are working well and they still sound great.  Delivers the sound quality very near KEF's renowned 105/2's

CONDITION -  Good.   The drivers are in good condition.  Grills are clean and free of holes or stains.  Wood cabinets are beautiful but have a couple repairs and signs of aging.   Grills stay on tight.
