RE LISTED after issue with potential buyer!
Purchased as the newer CD77.1 not the older CD77, but recently upgraded by the Distributor in Australia with the latest Quad Core DAC board and other parts direct from AMR themselves (NO 3rd party parts). This is the latest incarnation of AMR DAC Board and offers a significant improvement to their original flagship product. Exact words from AMR, "just because we don't sell the CD77.1 anymore, doesn't mean work has halted on improving sound quality for existing customers". The original DAC board and other parts are included as is the original metal remote and the metal flight case, set up CD, manuals. It does not come with interconnects or power cord.
All are in very nice condition and it is operationally perfect. The sound is very organic and natural but impactful at the same time! Very deep and well defined bass. Spacious sound stage.
Transport is the Philips CDPro 2 along with 6 tubes. As it uses tubes it does generate quite a lot of heat so requires placement in an area with good air flow. Please note that the CD77.1 will run on all world voltages. It is heavy at 55kg (121 pounds) packaged!
