Newly Reduced Vivid Audio G1 S2 White, one year limited warranty

Ex-distributor selling review sample from the GIYA G1S2 press reviews in N. America offering one-year limited warranty on parts (worldwide) and labor (U.S. only). 
These speakers are 2 years old and were used for two U.S. reviews: shipped once to Soundstage and hand-delivered/collected to Stereophile.  Otherwise, they are in excellent condition and have been kept in our private facility without much use.  We taped the edges of the bottom of the speakers and the grilles to prevent scratching the units.

As good as the original Giya G1 was, the factory continued to make running changes over the years. The crossovers were updated and the midrange woofer updated. But it was only when the factory used trickle down technology gained during the development of the G1 Spirit and the B1 Decade did they decide to produce the Series 2 Giyas.

The Series 2 Giyas received all new CNC machined internal bracing to stiffen the cabinets considerably and reduce flex.
The crossovers were updated and delivered a richer, fuller midrange and as good as the bass was in the Series 1 Giyas, the Series 2 bass is more robust and yet continues to deliver class-leading bass, both in definition & articulation.  The Series 2 G1 has a wonderfully extended high-frequency extension.

For many years we showed & drove at home the G1’s with the LUXMAN B-1000f monoblocks; truly a wonderful combination.  These monoblocks produce 30WPC of pure Class A, then slide into class AB for the rated output of 250WPC into 8 ohms. Though SOundStage measured these at 300WPC into 8.

We use the Artesania 2 ½” decoupling discs underneath the factory-supplied spikes to break the floor resonance from the speaker cabinets. A v. Notable improvement Also allows you to angle the speakers ever so slightly down.

This particular pair of G1 Series 2 were never sold but were the importer’s personal pair of speakers and as such have been really well taken care of. The Grills had white electrical tape placed all the way around to stop the grills, magnetically attached from causing small scratches in the paintwork. Underneath the cabinets, where the carbon fiber crossovers are, the edges were covered with white electrical tape to reduce scratching underneath, even though we have carpet on the floor.

Included in the sales price; the former importer will visit the lucky  buyer within 6 months and help dial in the speakers for optimum performance. This offer is only valid in the continental USA or Canada. Outside N.America expenses would need to be covered.
