PSB Platinum M2 Monitor Speakers with Stands

Greetings. I am selling a pair of PSB Platinum M2 monitor
speakers. We moved to a smaller home and I no longer have a place for the
second listening room I had before. As part of PSB’s flagship line when I
bought them, I used these speakers as the mains in a two-channel system. They
would also be a great in a home theater or combination listening and home
theater system. With large dynamic range and sizable power handling (200
watts), you can get full sound without having to offload all the bass onto a
sub. (You can, of course, use them with a sub too.)

I agree with this ad copy from the Platinum line brochure,
so I provided it verbatim: “Unique, die-cast aluminum end structures,
aluminum-clad front baffles, and rigid, locking aluminum corner-rails lend
Platinum an understated yet commanding visual elegance. Far more importantly,
these details secure enclosures rated among the most non-resonant, and thus
among the most coloration-free, of any yet created. Hand-rubbed veneers in the
finest grades of cherry or black ash, and obsessive attention to construction
detail and finish ensure the Platinums looks as good as they sound.” These
monitors are solid.

I’m including a pair of purpose-built stands which bolt to
the bottoms of the speakers. Filled with sand or other mass loading material,
the stands provide a ridged and neutral base for flexible placement. There is a
channel at the back of the stand for routing the speaker cable so you can keep
the wire inconspicuous.

I do not have the original packaging for the speakers, but
they are safely boxed with the original jumpers and removable grilles. There
are some minor nicks and scratches on the cabinets and stands, but nothing
visible unless you are right next to them. The drivers and cones themselves are
unblemished.
