Zanden Audio Preamp and Amp - Models 3100 & 8120

Mint (more like new). Zanden dealer told me they were his demo units, although when I received them, they appeared new in box / unused.

Willing to sell individual components - contact me directly.  I also have a Zanden 6000 purchased from an audio dealer and just checked and brought to “new” status by Zanden in Japan, including new box. I love Zanden and will part with the 6000 OR the 8120 + 3100 combo.  Need to keep one or the other to drive my TAD CR1 speakers. Take your pick. 


I purchased these last year from authorized Zanden US dealer.  I put a few hours on the preamp and amp and none on the phono preamp.  I am blown away by the grip, drive, musicality and extreme spaciousness of Zanden equipment.  Easy to get lost in the music, until you hear a voice or instrument right by your listening chair and wonder how that happened :-).  You can read the Absolute Sound and HiFi+ articles stating these Zanden components are state of the art / compete with cost-no-object equipment.  Note, the 3100 preamp beat my ARC Ref 6 preamp which I sold. The 8120 amp beat a pair of $65,000 Air Tight mono amps I had and sold.
