Meridian 40th Anniversary System

I am selling Meridian's superb 40th Anniversary digital audio system, which includes a matching 808.3 CD player and their powerful DSP8000 self powered loudspeakers.  There were only 40 systems built – this is number 27/40.  This is a complete functional package, so no additional amps and preamps are necessary!  the CD player provides the volume and the speakers have the built in DACs and amplifiers!  The 40th Anniversary system is finished in their "Ruby Red" color which looks much better than their usual basic "black” color and is only available to owners of this system!  CD player and speakers are painted to match, something Meridian has never done before or since!  New, this package was over $100K.  I have been told by folks viewing the ad that the units look scuffed and scratched in the pictures.  LET ME BE CLEAR, THEY ARE NOT SCUFFED OR SCRATCHED!  Any such artifact in the pics is most certainly a result of the high gloss paint reflecting a light or window or my electronic flash in the room, just the way a shiny new car paint would on a car.  They are at least an 8 or 9 on the Audiogon scale!  The 808.3 CD player in the system has had two upgrades from stock – the ID41 card (highest quality Sooloos streaming network card) and the OE38 Digital output card (a higher quality digital output with Speakerlink connections to get the digital signal to the DSP8000 loudspeakers).  The system is a few upgrades away from the latest 808 CD Player and current DSP8000 Loudspeakers – and in a beautiful finish available to only 40 people worldwide.  A very powerful, great sounding and unique audio system!  Original boxes and manuals, etc. are available.  Can deliver if in the general Seattle/Tacoma area.  Bank wire is preferred for payment.
