This listing is for a vintage McIntosh C28 stereo preamplifier. This item has been tested and is in 100% operational condition. Both channels are clean and clear with no hum, buzz, noise, or distortion. All switches and potentiometers are smooth and quiet. Back lit illumination and indicators are absolutely perfect.

I have been listening to this piece in my test system and find no faults. Audio quality is exceptional this 45 year preamplifier is in absolutely fantastic condition both operationally and cosmetically. Truly one of the finest MAC pieces I have offered you would not be disappointed.

Cosmetic condition is stellar on this piece both inside and out. No dirt, no nicotine contamination, no corrosion. No dents, no dings, no scratches. The glass is beautiful with no cracks or broken pieces. All decals and graphics are completely intact. This example shows very little signs of wear for its age. If you are looking for an above average C28 this example will meet or exceed your expectations.
