Grandinote Celio Mk4 (latest version) solid state phono pre using their proprietary Magnetosolid® technology. This does not sound like typical solid state. Grandinote is less known in the states but check out their YouTube videos and overseas show results. I purchased the Celio to see if it could unseat my more expensive and much larger Thoress Phono Enhancer but found it doesn't match as well in my passive pre based system.
The Celio is a very flexible unit with switchable low/high gain and 10 load settings. Gain and load settings are independent of MM/MC, meaning you can have a higher output MC cart loaded at 100 ohm but using the low gain setting. RCA input/output but you can run dual Celio units in a mono configuration via the XLR jacks.
I'm the second owner (had it a few months) and it's in excellent condition. Comes with the factory packaging. This is an original EU unit which was changed to 120V at the direction of Grandinote. The Celio has a universal power supply and only needed two wires moved for USA voltage.
$3200 firm. Buyer pays shipping and PayPal fees (if any).
Art Dudley did a mini review in the latest Stereophile. Ignore his opinions of the power button. Grandinote moved it to the rear with the Mk4 version to encourage users to always leave the unit on for best performance. It uses 8w of power and runs cool.
