For sale here is a Counterpoint SA 5.1 that has been fully modified by Mike Elliot ( Alta Vista) and Mike Bettinger (of VPI). Elliot did the line and phono stages and Bettinger did the power supply. I was done a number of years ago. Notice all of the Dynamicap caps and the naked resistors, new tube sockets, and all electrolytic caps replaced. This is an incredible sounding preamp, and a real steal at the asking price. Fitted with Tesla 7DJ8 tubes and the super voltage rectifier tube.
Does not come with the Daedalus DIDs shown in the photo. Buyer pays shipping and all fees. If you read this far you know how unique this item is. Preamp does have the factory top but it is not shown in the pictures.
I would prefer not to ship this but will. If shipped, I will not be responsible for any damage that may occur due to shipper issues. I can meet or deliver this within a reasonable distance. No time wasters please as I am not the clearing house for stereo information.
