BEL 2002- like two 1001 BEL amps on one chassis
I am the second owner of this amplifier. It is a rare version of the much sought-after BEL 1001, anointed by Absolute Sound as perhaps the world’s best amplifier. Essentially, it consists of two 1001 amps mounted on a single chassis. It has been in use in my main system until a few days ago. Function has been flawless. The sound is revealing and transparent. Cosmetic condition is very good for a component of its age. The only visible flaw on careful inspection are some scuff marks on the binding posts. In one photo heat sink fins appear purple- they are not!

Class A amplifier. 100 watts into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms. No owners manual. IEC power cord included, which may not be original. Reviewed in issues 25 and 26 of The Absolute Sound.
