This is a wonderful solid state stereo amp with all the muscle you could ever look for to handle the biggest dynamic passages and demanding speaker loads as well as giving the most nuanced and musical presentation of delicate passages. It is solid state but sounds nothing like solid state. Micro-dynamics, imaging, sound-staging, etc...are all at the top tier of performance even when compared to much more expensive offerings.

This amp runs amazingly cool even when confronted with long hours of play at room-filling volumes.  For those who know this amp and have either owned it, heard and/or reviewed it, the A-02’s performance and sound-quality are well known and well-regarded.  It’s driven full-range speakers like the TAD R1 Mk2s and Legacy Focus SE with a wide variety of material from pipe organ and large symphonic to rock, prog-rock, hard-rock and electronica & techno for hours on end without breaking a sweat or showing any material it could not handle.

I’ve had this wonderful amp for approximately 4 years.  Reason for selling…thanks to my latest almost entirely active speaker setup with Legacy Wavelet, this A-02 has been used for the last 2 months to only drive a pair of tweeters. This is the definition of overkill and its time to move on to another amp.

This is a 15-amp US power 120V / 60 Hz version. S/N on backpanel photos is a bit blurry as I've still got it hooked up and playing. S/N is 60001.
