Ultra rare Cello Palette audiophile preamplifier in excellent condition.
I would describe it as mint, but maybe there's a blemish I missed.
With power supply and cables.
Designed by Martin Levinson.
Original retail price $8,500
From Stereophile Magazine:
"Founded in 1984 by Mark Levinson, the man responsible for the original Mark Levinson products (footnote 1), Cello has slowly become more visible within the high-end audio consumer market...
The Palette Preamplifier is a recent addition to the Cello line. Intended as a consumer version of the combination of the much more expensive Audio Suite preamplifier and Audio Palette equalizer (which together, including common power supply, now sell for approximately $30,000!), the Palette Preamplifier is the first Cello component intended exclusively for home use. Whereas the Audio Suite and Audio Palette use discrete circuitry and balanced inputs and outputs throughout their signal paths, the Palette incorporates integrated circuits, single-ended inputs, and is housed in a single chassis to keep costs down.
