Balanced Audio Technology REX II

We have a Balanced Audio Technology (BAT) REX II preamp for sale with its separate power supply, upgraded tubes, and upgraded board. 

This is your chance to get the best preamp ever made (according to most audiophiles) at a crazy reduced rate! I have not heard a better preamp in my life.. This is a quote from Ken (the owner of the store I bought this preamp from), "As a shop owner I get to listen to all kinds of equipment and to date I have yet to hear a better sounding pre amp." 
This kind of equipment is rarely seen on the used market, and is one of those items that you can only DREAM about. You only dream of ever hearing it in your home... I have been fortunate enough and blessed to be able to listen to it for a full year.. It has been an amazing experience and I appreciate and respect this unit a lot! It is a very hard decision to let it go. 

I bought this preamp for my personal system with Martin Logan Summit X speakers, Sanders Magtech Amplifier, WyWires Diamond cables throughout, PS Audio DirectStream CD/Streamer and DAC, REL subs, and Shunyata Power Stations, etc. It is a very good system.. One of the best I've ever heard! It's hard to get better than this... 
Unfortunately I will have to let go of the REX II preamp though.. Whoever gets it next can be certain that it is in amazing condition and it will live up to its name. It will blow away any other preamp.. It can't get better than this.

BAT REX 2 PreAmp.  All tube design, 2 piece unit with separate tube power supply.  This unit is a leftover dealer demo unit - I bought it from a dealer called Cake Audio last year, so it is pretty much brand new.. Went from one dealer to another..  Comes equipped with upgraded factory NOS tubes (8 6H30) $2400 upgrade and the $1000 XPAK option which allows further fine tuning and flexibly of the tube configuration via a factory paddle board equipped with optional tubes sets. Basically new, with approximately 350 hours of use. Includes all factory packaging, and remote.
Description: Remote-controlled, dual-mono, two-chassis, tube line preamplifier. Tube complements: eight 6H30 SuperTubes (control module); two 5AR4, four 6C19, plus user-selectable choice of two 6H30 or two 6C45 shunt voltage-regulator tubes (power module). Analog inputs: 5 balanced (XLR). Analog outputs: 2 main, 1 tape (all XLR). Gain: 18dB. Frequency range: 2Hz–200kHz. Noise: –100dB. Input impedance: 100k ohms (minimum). Output impedance: 200 ohms. Power consumption: 220VA (control module), 250VA (power module).
Dimensions: Each module: 19" (490mm) W by 5.75" (150mm) H by 15.5" (400mm) D. Weights: 40 lbs (18.2kg), control module; 36 lbs (16.4kg), power module.

This unit was bought as a store demo from one dealer to another. This unit has all original packaging and contents. It is in perfect condition. Amazing unit at an amazing price!
