Up for sale is a very nice Goldmund Mimesis 6 Amplifier. The unit is a consignment item and is in very good shape. Some minor fading on the cover plate and some light scratches here and there.
There were two versions o the Mimesis 6 amplifier. This was the second version, which was still called a 6, but should have been called 6+ or special edition. It has a potted transformer and came with the Goldmund cones. It also had some other upgraded parts from the factory.
Norbert Nagys from Nagys Audio tested and brought the amp back to factory spec about a year ago. All electrolytic caps were replaced. The four larger cap cans were not, he said they were fine and no need to replace.
NOTE - This unit DOES come with the Gold Cone footers - a nice improvement and a $400 value!
This unit does NOT have the original box or manual. We will have the unit professionally boxed and insured if the buyer is out pickup area.
The voltage is 110V - standard setting for US and Canada.
