I have decided to downsize my system from three turntables and am putting my Nottingham Analogue Space 294 turntable up for sale. The turntable is in absolutely excellent condition and has been well maintained during my ownership. I am the original owner and bought it brand new from Audio Encounter Solutions in late 2015 (I have invoices and receipts). I purchased this set up with a Lyra Delos moving coil cartridge, which is shown in the photos but is not included.
Included in this sale is the Space 294 turntable, the Ace Space tonearm, and the Heavy kit. The turntable and Heavy Kit will be shipped in the original boxes and packing materials. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges. The shipping weight is 86lbs for the turntable and 30lbs for the Heavy kit.
I will ship to the lower 48 U.S. States. No international shipping.

| 1. Does the package include all of the original user's manual about how to set up the turntable and HD kit?
2. Does the turntable needs any maintenance before assembly or usage? I have seen there is lubricant needed for the bearing to install the plate. Is the lubricant from Nottingham included? Any consumable or maintenance needed in future? The package includes the product documentation and instructions for how to install the heavy kit. This is a very, very easy turntable to set up.
Oil for the spindle bearing comes with the turntable. The only maintenance you need to do is once every year, where you remove the platter, clean the spindle tube with some long stem cotton swabs, and then put half a cap of oil in the spindle tube and then slowly lower the platter into the spindle tube. It takes less than 10 minutes to do. |
| Since I have very little experience with vinyl turntable (only play with old Denon automatic turntable) but am very interested in upgrading to better system to enjoy music from vinyl, do I need to find some experienced person to help install cartridge and adjust the tonearm after assembly, especially I know there are some critical adjustment needed for the tonearm to get the best performance? Installing and setting up a cartridge is not exceedingly difficult, but you will need a cartridge alignment protractor and vertical tracking force gauge or scale. If you have never installed a cartridge before then you would benefit a great deal from having someone experienced to show you how it is done. |
