Well, this could be it. In the world of 300b, if this is the world you choose to live in, these could very well be end of the road. They are one of the very best, and to many the best.
Listed here for your consideration are Allnic A-6000 Power Amplifiers. These monoblock amps are rather unique: they put out 50 watts per channel of Single Ended Triode power through 300b tubes. If you drop 300b XLS tubes in, as I have (pictured below), they gain 20% more power and generate 60 watts per channel. In other words (with proper speakers), the world becomes your oyster. They will give you the delicate beauty you associate with SET 300b amps, and yet, unlike almost any other 300b power amp, can rock out to your hearts desire, or climb any orchestral mountain. Among other things, I believe you will find that these amps make vocals sound like nothing else you have ever heard. It can really be enchanting.
For what it's worth, I currently have these paired with moderately inefficient Focal Sopra No 1s (the monitors) which are 89db and dip down to 3.9 ohms. I can still hardly believe how good they sound together. Most surprising to me is the amount of bass that I get from this combination.
Reason for Sale: I intend to replace my Sopra 1s with floorstanding speakers, and I simply need more power. One day I hope to have a dedicated 300b system, but that day is not today, sadly.
History: I purchased these amps in slightly used condition from a well-respected dealer, who himself was an Allnic dealer. I do not know much about their history besides that. What I can say, is that in the ~6 months I have owned them, they have done nothing but blow me away.
Original factory crates. I am selling them with the 300b tubes that they came with. I will separately be selling the Emission Labs 300b XLS tubes that you can see in the pictures. If you buy them together with the amps, I would be happy to work in an extra discount on the tubes (retail ~$750 a pair).
$10,000 may sound steep, but do understand that this is an absolute reference end of the line tube amplifier. If you want to extract the very best out of 300b tubes, Kang Su Park has got you covered with these amps. Please note that this is a nearly 60% discount to buying them new, at $24,000.
I am hoping to do a local pickup - I am in NYC. If you are dead set on getting these amps, and the only way is to ship, we can talk about it - you would pay for shipping and insurance. PayPal +2.9% fee.
