Upgraded Dual Ethernet Switch with low jitter TXCO

This is a DIY ethernet switch upgrade.

Both switches are driven by the same low jitter temperature controlled
oscillator (TCXO). There is an upgraded power capacitor filter included.

It would create an improvement for those using UPNP audio over ethernet using a Network Attache Drive (NAS) that is connecting directly to their router or a normal switch. It will NOT have an effect if you use an audiophile NAS (e.g. Melco) that has an isolated ethernet connection or if you are not using ethernet for media connection.

The Gigabit (lower switch) should connect with the following: - router - NAS - computer (optional - if there is a desire to transfer files between the computer and the NAS at high speed). - upper router

The 10/100 (upper) router has a slower speed but actually better audio performance. It should connect to: - lower router - network streamer
I have experienced significantly expanded soundstage and better timing when using this configuration compared to each of the switches on their own.

The clock wiring uses NOS tinned copper cabling from Siemens.

It will include a 2Amp universal SMPS. Even better performance can be obtained by using a low-noise linear power supply but this is not included!
