This subwoofer has never been used it was purchased in March for a home theater system that we decided not to install. The sub was removed from the box to photograph and to make sure that it powers up And works as it should. The box is large we recommend shipping palletised via Freight liner.

| I was reading your ad and it seems your conflicted! It said never used but you took it out of the box to take pictures and test it. That is used to me plenty of pictures on rel.net of the sub, I consider your sub used and your asking way to much for a used sub. If I were purchasing a sub of that value I wouldn’t pay what your asking for it brand new out of a store
Sir when we received the subwoofer we open the box and when I decided to sell it I wanted to make sure there was no internal damage from shipping and to make sure that it works I powered up tested the unit I don't see this is a conflict this is a been shipped wants to me I just wanted to take extra care to make sure that all was good before I give anything to 1010 or a 9. Also it is listed as a 10/10 Mint not as a new witch is listed under the condition selection section.

| It has in fact been used... the main title listing says "Never Used". Not true. It is being used in the photos and there is hair or something on the front... it is indeed used. Sir. I am not going to argue with you I am very conservative in my ratings it is listed as a 10 out of 10 mint condition right above that it says new I did not choose new I chose 10 out of 10.
This subwoofer has never been installed and the system since it was shipped to me and I am not a dealer even if I didn't open it it could still be considered used so I wanted to make sure the unit had no damage from the factory and was in perfect working order. Please take care and have a nice day

| I am sorry, but it is used if taken out of box to test or whatever. New, is in a sealed, unopened container. No need to test if brand new. Why? Because that is how it comes from the factory., unopened, not tested and sealed from the factory. Sorry, but that is the truth. I know in your mind it is brand new and a 10/10, but that is for unopened, un tested products. Sir please read the audiogon scale. This is from the rating scale 10/10 is not new there is a rating for that above 10/10
10/10: Mint - Essentially never used, factory fresh appearance!
The word "mint" is used so often that it's meaning is taken for granted. In the Audiogon Grading Scale, Mint can be used to describe an item if it meets the following criteria without exception.
The item must have been removed from its' original packing and used for less than one year. The one year or less of usage is a must since subtle environmental contact such as finger skin oils, household chemicals, smoke, and other airborne pollutants can negatively impact equipment. The result of this kind of exposure is a discoloration of the equipment's surfaces.
• Electronics must have no visible scratches, nicks, or blemishes anywhere on the piece. The gold plating on input/output connectors should evidence no scratches or discoloration. Chrome should have absolutely no pitting or discoloration, especially around screwheads.
• Speaker grilles should have absolutely no pulls or discoloration. The bottoms of speakers should not show signs of stand mounting or floor scrapes.
• Turntables must not show any use, and their covers must have been left in the box - that's how new they must look.
Very few pre-owned or demo items qualify for this level, so we strongly recommend a thorough inspection of the item before rating it a 10/10.

| Unbelievable, apparently some members have nothing better to do than harass this man over the condition of this sub. Looks like a 10 to me. Thank you so very much. I really don't understand all of the questions I've gotten over this. I have not sold lot on audiogon I tried to be ultra conservative and is upfront as I can possibly be. I do believe that my feedback shows this on a few occasions I've been told that stuff arrives in better shape than I advertised. |
