Here is a wonderfully clean Naim Unitiqute 2 for a fairly low price because this does NOT have the updated Bluetooth capability and if you want to stream SpotifyX, you will have to update the firmware (which is apparently pretty easy - Naim has a video on YouTube of how to do it - I would have done it, but everything is all boxed up and ready to ship). Note that this is a 'buy it now' type of situation. I am already very low and so I am in no hurry to do any further discounting.
You can see that it is 115V, but there is no gray-market malarkey going on here! This is for North America (just look at the photos of the box, with the importer's address). Naim puts 115V on their gear because more than any other company (down to their very DNA), they believe in properly engineered power supplies. This includes anticipating what actually comes out of our walls. We are so used to seeing 120V on all of our equipment and in our lamps, computers, etc. But Naim believes we are better served with 115V engineered gear. I tend to throw my lot in with them on most things related to solid-state engineering. Heck, even their mechanical engineering is no slouch (I owned a Naim ARO tonearm for a few years and have considered going back to using one, but I digress).
Anyway, I needed a simple integrated amp with some flexibility for a variety of systems that I've had over the last 5 years (I have also used it as a digital source with its own internet radio, plugged a turntable and phono pre-amp into the analog inputs, and used it as a preamp in my main system for a little while...oh, and I used the internal 32bit/192kHz DAC too). Admittedly, one feature that I never even tried was using the 3.5mm input on the front which also doubles as a digital optical socket too.
Perfect for a home-office, a dorm, or even as a primary amplification component for modestly sized speakers (or big speakers that are easy to drive). The UnitiQute 2 only pumps out 30w into 8ohms but they are Naim watts, which tend to be fairly potent. I had great results with old A/D/S aluminum bookshelf speakers from the 1980s, restored Quad ESLs from the 1950s, and the modestly sized and easy-to-power HornShoppe single-driver speakers (still in production). Each setup was a lot of fun!
The remote is also very intuitive, which is nice. The original box and original packaging is in great shape, and the owner's manual is also included. Buyer will pay shipping via the carrier of their choice (UPS, FedEx, or USPS). I will ship internationally on this one, but please keep in mind that if you want international shipping it will be expensive and the 115V of the component will need to be compensated for in your own country's voltage. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Questions for the seller |
---|
Do you deliver the products to Taiwan? How much is the shipping fee? Sorry - but I do not ship internationally for this product. |
The Naim site indicates that the Spotify connect update only works for units that are 24bit/192kHz capable which began in 2011 production. Can you verify the unit is compatible? Thanks. Yessir. Perfectly compatible. As I mentioned in my description, this is the 32bit / 192kHZ DAC.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Jake |
