Long-time 'phile, trying to get off...the box-swapping merry-go-round.

So...I got an NAD C658, to act as streamer/DAC/and pre-amp; to these active Dyn monitors. Simple, clean; no futzing...just listening.

Problem: something didn't sit right with me, about the sound. After some research, there appears to be SEVERAL complaints; about the NAD's balanced pre-outs. IMO...that's the best way, to run this set-up; as you'd want fairly long ICs...and Balanced would be the way to go.

So...I'm convinced the problem, isn't the speakers. I've owned LOTS of Dyns, and never found them to be any less than rock-solid and compelling. In fact...I wish I could try this minimalist set-up, with one of my previous "all-in-ones"; like the Mytek Brooklyn.

But...I'm kinda committed, to the C658 (and have money, invested in a ROON subscription); so...I'm going to keep it, as a source; and go back the passive route.

These are a real bargain, for someone looking for the convenience of active (like an Office, Living Room; or even Main room...if you're trying to streamline, like I was). Dyns have great drivers; and these speakers...are quite configurable (you'll be able to see the back panel, when I post pics shortly. I'd put some stock ones up, for now; but I have some jack-a$$ reporting me to AG, every-time I do...lol).

I know these aren't exactly current; and there are some "grey-market" type re-sellers, kicking these around...for like $800 new. So...I'll take, $650 for mine; which are in like-new shape.

You pay S&H, any fees for the payment, etc. Crazy-good feedback, so...8 is conservative, and you know you'll be buying from a trusted trader.
