Assembled Bob Latino ST-120 for Sale

You are looking at a fully assembled ST-120 Amplifier! While this thing may look like your dad's Dynaco ST-70 (the chassis is actually compatible with the ST-70 tube cage), I call it an "ST-70" on steroids" for several reasons:

• 60 watts per channel instead of the ST-70's 35 watts.
• Uses four KT88, 6550, KT90, KT100 or KT120 tubes.
• Switchable from pentode (60 watts) or triode ( about 30 watts) operating modes.
• Fantastic driver board using 6SN7 tubes for driver and phase splitting.
• Bigger transformers (see image) Thicker stainless steal chassis (see image)

In addition, this amp comes with the following upgrades:

• Russian PIO coupling caps
• Genalex KT88 power tubes
• Russian 60s era 68HC phase splitter tubes
• Sophia Electric Blue Glass 6SN7 tube (absolutely excellent)
• Genalex GZ34 rectifer tube (pictured rectifier not included)
• 21-Step Volume Attenuator. Use this amp with or without a preamp!

Selling because it's a bit bigger than I have room for anymore and I need the funds. My loss is your gain!
In the interest of full disclosure, the amp has the following minor issues:

• Slight burn mark on one of the bias controls on the driver board (see image). Control still works perfectly.
• The ground tap on the left channel is a bit loose. Not a problem at all with banana plugs.

Other than that, a very solid amplifier. Well worth the price of admission. Fully assembled with Sovtek tubes, stock capacitors and a 12AU7 driver board, these go for about $1,645. I am letting this ready-to-ship unit go for $1,099 with board, tube and cap upgrades!
