Based on Arcam's receivers, the AVR9 is one of the few receivers rated by reviewers as comparable to separates.. I am a small home dealer for GoldenEar Technology and I wanted a receiver to demonstrate home theater systems. But my shoppers/customers are almost all two-channel guys who are happy to hear stereo on my Bel Canto system and never ask for an HT demo, so I have this expensive receiver I don't need, because my personal HT listening is in another room.
I'm not an AudioControl dealer so there is no warranty.
