For sale is my Rega P3, which I rate a 8/10. The RB300 arm has been professionally wired with the Incognito kit and comes with a Benz-Micro MC Silver (high output moving coil) cartridge. I won't speculate how many hours are on the cartridge but I've had it a while and the turntable has not seen much use over the years. The counterweight has also been upgraded with Rega's tungsten counterweight. The bearing well, bearing, and sub-platter are brand new...as is the glass platter and felt mat. A white "reference" drive belt is included (as shown). Also installed is the Incognito "Easy Rider" for adjusting VTA.
The original cover is a bit hazy but it never bothered me much. It could probably be polished with some super fine grit sandpaper and be restored to like new condition. The original box is included. The turntable will be double boxed for shipment. Overall its a pretty serviceable deck and sounds quite good to my ears. Thanks for looking, and please contact me if you have any questions! | why is the bearing and sub-platter need to be replaced? Usually people replace the belt. The platter looks like aluminum and not glass.
I assure you, the platter is glass. The original bearing well and platter were swapped over to a different plinth. So I ordered a replacement from Rega and they sent the bearing well, bearing, and sub-platter. So all those parts are new. As is the glass platter and felt mat. |
