I am listing my recently created Home Audio Stereo System for sale as a complete set. We are going to be moving soon and won't have room for this system as well as my big system (to be sold later as well). This has a few brand new pieces that were just bought new, as well as some of my best pieces that i've had for awhile. This will make an excellent starter system or final system depending on your goals.
This system consists of B&W Nautilus 804 Speakers, Simaudio Moon 240i Integrated Amp (Brand New), Oppo BDP-105 Modded with Upgraded Power Supply (Amazing upgrade), Nordost Super Flat Line Speaker Cables (Brand New), Heron Interconnects & Upgraded power cables for both Amp & Oppo.
Starting with the B&W 804 Nautilus Speakers. These are used but in great shape. Sound Amazing. Here is a bit of info below:

Built and finish has always been impressive but more importantly, the sound quality of the N804 is where it distinguishes itself from the other brands. Its midrange and highs were crystal clear with a nice touch of warmth. It wasn’t too warm where it might sound “lumpy” and neither was it too light where it might sound dry. Bass was tight and fast and its dual 6.5″ woofers added some weight without sounding too imposing. If you like bass heavy notes, the N804 won’t cut it. But for everything else, jazz, classical, rock and vocals, they are wonderful. Particularly vocals. With vocals, the N804 was very precise and was able to center the voice very nicely in a textured setting."

The Integrated Amp is the Simaudio Moon 240i Integrated Amp. I just got it brand new, probably only has a few dozen hours warming it up on it. Sounds amazing. Specifications below:

The reviews are top notch for this piece. It can handle so many old school and modern technologies and equipment. Sound quality wise its the best i have ever hear in its price category.

Then there is the Oppo BDP-105 Modded Source Unit. This does Blu-Ray, DVD, CD & More. But the main reason i bought it was sound quality for music only. Thats why i got one with the Modified Power Supply. It makes a TON of difference on sound quality and quietness. Some info about it is below, it's used in multiple Oppo products but it will help explain why its used.

Linear Power Supply

To maximise the performance of the Oppo players, we offer a linear power supply to replace the switch mode power supply (SMPS) within the Oppo players.

The Oppo 103D uses a switch mode power supply for all its circuits.  The 105D has two power supplies, the same switch mode power supply to run its digital circuits, and a linear power supply (toroidal transformer) to run its analog audio ( Stereo analog output and 7.1 analog output) circuits. For our Premium Mod, we replace the SMPS in both players with a low noise Linear Power Supply. 

The linear power supply that we use is designed to be the same size as the original SMPS, as a 1 to 1 replacement, and resides within the player.  It features multiple separate windings for the various DC voltage used by the Oppo player, isolating further the noise different circuit generates from each other.  FRED (Ultra soft, Fast Recovery Diodes), Optimised low noise voltage regulators, Low impedance 105 degrees Celsius rated industrial capacitors as well as a carefully chosen audio grade fuse is used as well.  

In general, a SMPS generates more noise than a linear power supply.  By exchanging it with a low noise linear power supply, noise within the Oppo player is reduced to an absolute minimum, and hence audio (digital and analog) and video performance will be improved by a big margin.  It will lift your Oppo player to the real high-end performance.  All spectrum of the Oppo player’s performance will be improved.  For video, picture resolution, details, natural contrast, motion artefact, colour purity, image stability and depth will be greatly improved.  For audio, resolution, sound staging, speed, PRAT, natural harmonics, will be enhanced by a wide margin.  You have not heard what your Oppo player can really do until you use our linear power supply.

Below is the info from the person who did my upgrade, he does these installs all the time. Here is his explanation:

 If you send your OPPO 105 or OPPO 105D, we will supply and install a new linear power supply that really transforms the Oppo. The big improvement you get in sound quality with the ultra expensive digital players is often mostly in the well designed power supply. The Oppo 105 has great sound and video capability but it's chief weakness in stock form is the power supply. When powered by a proper high end linear power supply, the player really opens up and becomes more dynamic. In short, it sounds like an ultra high end player, which it would now be. The stock Oppo 105 sounds tubby and sluggish compared to a modified unit..

We will also bypass the 220v selector to give a more direct power feed. Additional chassis damping .

The person who did mine lives nearby so i didn't even have to drive far or ship it. He had the unit already modded and sounds simply fantastic. If you have an Oppo of your own already, i highly advise having them upgrade if good sound is what you are after. I was not disappointed.

There are also Nordost Super Flat Line Speaker Cables & Heron Interconnects. Paid alot for better cables & it's worth it. For me anyways. I also got heavily upgrade power cables for both from a Home Audio store, very high quality, cost me a couple hundred extra but they made a difference in final sound. As far as the power cables i can't remember the brand of model as i forgot to write it down, but they weren't cheap. I should be able to find out once i unhook everything and get back into where they are. 

I have almost $8000 in this system and selling under what it is worth just to try and move as one lot. I do not want to ship this equipment because of the risk of damage. Would rather you come here and hear it for yourself (If near northern indiana), or if in indiana, michigan, illinois or ohio i can meet you half way or deliver to you after payment clears. Might drive farther to meet depending on situation. If you do want me to ship, i DO have all the boxes and packing for the speakers, amp and Oppo so i can ship them but you will need to provide exact packing instructions or additional materials to do so safely. You would choose whatever carries you trust, such as UPS or USPS. But you would have to pay whatever is needed for shipping. I won't cut corners on packing or quality of shipment so i would much rather you come get everything or meet, or have me deliver. So even though it says Local Pickup Only i will consider shipping if we work out something.
