Essence Amethyst 30

These are in the very rare floor standing transmission line speakers used by several reviewers as their reference speaker back in the 80's. They are in Mahogany and the color is a little less red than the camera shows. It is more of an earth tone. The real wood veneer is damaged on one speaker in the bottom rear corner. The beautiful wood sides have a very high gloss finish. There are no scratches or flaws on the sides.
These are in excellent mechanical condition.

They look terrific and sound superb. The Essence speakers are voiced naturally. They inspire long listening sessions and are inherently musical. That adjective gets thrown about continually in High End magazines. My view is that musical speakers have you running to dig out older albums and driving to buy new albums. Musical speakers have you forgetting to analyze and critique the sound of the equipment, and instead you get swept away in the music and you listen to who is singing backup.
They are a transmission line 8" - 2 way. The cabinets are lined with concrete and weigh at least 80 lbs each.
I will need time to build boxes after purchase or if your in the midwest I may have work close to you to meet up. These do love power and come alive when you have reserve even if not used.
