Valvo Jan (E88cc-6922)

NOS Matched Pair of the legendary Valvo Red E88CC/6922. These tubes are identical in sonics to Amperex 6922, on 99% of tube gear. The only gear I ever heard a difference on, is the early BAT preamps, in which they sounded richer, warmer. Audio research, Audible Illusions, Counterpoint, even Curcio modded gear, I could discern no difference at all. Both are Phillips tubes, made in different plants, and countries, but manufactured to the same specs, on tooling from the same manufacturers. Your views may differ, but to me there is no reason to regard one as superior to the other. Both are a match made in heaven for Audio Research tube gear, IMHO. Pics are of actual tubes under test on a calibrated Hickok 752A. Note the close match on ALL sections. It doesn't get much better. Shipped Priority Mail insured. Thanks for looking and good luck
