If you are tired of your music sounding like it's coming out of a stereo -- The Stratos monoblocks just gush with pure, musical, solid, huge and captivating sound.
These jaw-dropping Odyssey Stratos Extreme monoblocks were upgraded by Odyssey Audio just a few years ago (circuit boards, new capacitors) and improved by Bob Backert of RHB SoundDezign with Eichmann 5-way speaker cable binding posts (Eichmann is now called ETI Research) -- "arguably the most sonically transparent binding post ever made". Also installed were the ETI Research RCA plugs on each monoblock.
Owned and used for several years by the famous amplifier modder Bob Backert, who is the 2nd owner of these 2-owner beauties, these are in very good condition with only minor evidence of use. Odyssey took them back in 2016 and did a *complete update* on the circuit boards, now the famous "red" version (see photos). On one monoblock, if you get it exactly the right light, you can see minor aging of the chrome. This monoblock is shown in the last 2 photos above. In one light, it looks virtually perfect, in the other light, you can see the imperfection. It was never noticed by anyone until this photo was taken.
