Questions for the seller
On a scale of 1-10 can you please let me (us) know both physical condition and sound quality?
I listed the physical condition as Good, but I always err on the conservitive side when rating physical condition. It is in exteremely good physical condition except the feet are quite dried up and worn. So, I would give it an 8. Sound quality - gosh, I have many amps, including a D-60 of about the same vintage. The D-60 and D-120 are virtually identical circuit wise. The D-120 has higher voltage rails, 4 - 30KuF filter caps compared to 2 - 60KuF filter caps in the D-60 and more output transistors of identical types. All that said, to my ears the D-60 is more musical than the D-120 but the D-120 is no slouch and has more bass authority. Yet, I'm selling the D-120 not the D-60. My modest system: Schiit Freya preamp, Benchmark DAC2 HGC, one of many amps (the D-60 for now) and Magnepan 1.7's. Kimber and Mogami throughout. I stream TIDAL and ripped files from a Macbook Air USB. I hope this answers your questions.
