For sale, a Naim NAC282 preamplifier, complete with NAPSC-2 power supply (for lights and digital control circuitry), remote control, rear-socket jumpers, manual and original box. This unit was well cared for, looks almost new, and sounds excellent. Rated 8 for age.
- The NAC282 is considered by many to be the "best value" separate preamplifier in Naim's lineup. Audio performance is greatly enhanced by the (required) use of Naim external power supply. It can be powered by a NAP200 power amp, or (not included)power supply: Hicap, two Hicaps or a Supercap. The included jumpers will be required for all but the Supercap option.
- Note the NAC282 does not include a phono stage, but can power a Naim StageLine or SuperLine phono stage from the lower DIN Aux2 input. The RCA inputs, labeled "Phono Inputs" visible in Rear view, are simple alternative inputs for CD and AUX2 for use of RCA cable connectors instead of DIN.
- Here is your chance to significantly upgrade the musical performance of your Naim system at a fraction of the cost of a new unit. The NAC282 + NAPSC2 may be used in a non-Naim system, but will require a Naim power supply.
