Luxman PD-121

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Luxman PD-121U turntable.  When we took this one in on trade, it was in great cosmetic condition, but it needed a little mechanical TLC due to its age.  We had Jeff Hall at Muse Technologies bring it back up to spec, and now it plays as good as it looks!   There are separate pitch controls under the front edge of the turntable for both 33 and 45; the stroboscope easily shows perfect lock right in the middle of the adjust range of both.  You'll find the receipt for the Muse Technologies service at the end of the photo section.  
 
This PD-121 comes with an Infinity Black Widow tonearm, ready to mount with a cartridge of your choice.  This arm mates best with high-compliance cartridges; let us know if you need help in selecting one.  If you'd prefer to try a different tonearm, you're in luck - we're also including an unused Luxman PD121/Luxkit PDK131 tonearm base bracket assembly ("armboard") for an SME tonearm.  This piece alone sells for a couple hundred bucks when you can find them!

Unless otherwise noted, we ship our equipment to the lower 48 only, via UPS ground service.  If you’d like to use a faster form of UPS, just let us know – it’s your equipment and money!  Everything we offer for sale through Audiogon and eBay is guaranteed to arrive in proper working condition, but none of the equipment includes any kind of warranty, and all sales are final.  If you have any questions about a component, or what is included with it, please ask.  If the ad doesn’t mention a remote or manual being included, it probably isn’t!  Most of the equipment we sell on Audiogon and eBay is used – we take a lot of effort to give you accurate descriptions and provide good photos.  Although most of our trades have been well cared for, they probably didn’t spend their lives in a vacuum.  If you are likely to get bent out of shape by a smudge here or a nick there, please call or email us so we can give you detailed information before you buy.
