Up for sale is my 1-year old Pro-Ject VC-S Record Cleaning Machine INCLUDING hinged Dust Cover. Original box, all accessories included.I am selling my unit because I got a lucky Father’s Day upgrade gift to an Audio Desk. What can I say?
The Pro-Ject record cleaning machine provides power and features previously unavailable in automatic record cleaning machines in this price range. The Pro-Ject VC-S offers the ease, convenience, and benefits of wet vinyl LP cleaning in a fully set-up package that rids records of the worst dirt and annoying debris. It is very easy to use, not messy and a pretty fast cleaning process.
I buy used records so I needed an effective cleaning solution. Happy to report this machine works as advertised. You will enjoy improved dynamics, clarity, and detail from your clean and shiny records.
Suction and rotation direction are controlled by two rocker style switches on the side. A mechanically stable, spring-free metal vacuum arm is solidly built and IMO will last many years. Plus, an innovative clamp protects every LP's record label by sealing it off and preventing it from being touched by cleaning fluid.
The VC-S requires a maximum of just two complete rotations to completely clean and dry an LP but I usually do 4x rotation wet each direction and then 4x dry in each direction. Albums are rendered 100% clean and dry with this procedure.
