In some circles, these Quad floor standers are preferred over the likes of B&W 800 series (which is used in Abbey Road studios). Quad set out to have these driver based speakers perform in the same space as their electrostatics, which sell for many times the cost of these.
This pair is very well kept. Driven mainly with a McIntosh solid state at normal volume for most of their life. The only blemish is a little chunk of finish missing on the back side of one cabinet. Drivers are immaculate. Also be aware that this pair was bi-amped and does not have the flat metal bridge between the rear posts. This can be remedied many different ways.
I have all the original packaging, so I don't foresee having any issues shipping these. Includes the pair of speakers in two boxes, and both sets of feet (hard floor and carpet), manual, in original packaging.
