These have never been hooked up and are only out of the box to shoot pictures. Solid Walnut Hand made in Italy using the famous Dynaudio ISOTAR tweeter. Time Aligned. 90 dB efficient 8 ohm load. Great with tube or solid state amps. Big open soundstage and refined. Fast but organic.
Originally sold for $4500 a pair, they were brought in by the importer for Mastersound and the importer went out of business. The one picture that shows what looks like a scratch was tape residue that I wiped off with GuGone

| These look really nice and Mastersound amps are quality. Can you post a link or two, I haven't been able to find anything on them? Did they just make a few of these? If you go to their Italian web site you will see a larger version of these but there is no info on these. I think they were made specifically for the US market but never started selling before the US importer closed. |
| Yeah, as much as I like the look, I would need a written return guarantee if the sound wasn’t pleasing. I’ve bought items based on looks before and was very disappointed. If you buy them, I can hook them up before shipping and give you a detailed description along with what to expect with your equipment if you give me a detailed list of everything in your system. | I’m currently trying to upgrade my system. I have the Audio Research Vt-100 amp, Audible illusions m3b pre, Micromega Stage 5 player, and a Project turntable(which I’m also looking to replace)My current speakers are the Hales Concept 2 and I’m hoping these(Mastersound) would be a definite upgrade to my systems sound. I don't think these speakers are technically an upgrade. They would image wider and not have to be turned up as loud to open up but the real issue is the you have the wrong amp for the Hales. You need a faster more powerful amp to make them come alive, Your current system will be dark and thick. The other problem is that when you have a good speaker that was a good value, it takes a lot more money today to blow them away. |
| Sorry I have one more question. Based on some info I’ve found out, could you tell me how long ago were these speakers made? These speakers were built 10 years ago for the US market and never made it to market. They have sat in a warehouse in their crate the entire time. |
