Martin Logan Center Channel Speaker

This hybrid cone/ESL center channel speaker is from an estate sale and dates from about 2000 or a couple of years earlier. It plays well and is in pretty darn good shape overall for its vintage and for having been in storage for over 15 years. I am pretty sure that it is a one-off from Gayle Sanders, the previous owner of ML, that he had made for Harry Pearson of The Absolute Sound for the large all-ML surround sound video system that he was running then. I was with HP at this time, and I seem to recall that this was the center channel in that array of speakers. At some point it was sold to the man who had it when he passed a few years later. 
There are no official markings or labels on the speaker, so it is impossible to really prove that this is, in fact, a ML speaker. So I am relying on my memory here. In any event it sounds great and has no apparent operational issues.

There are several spots of minor damage on the speaker and some separation of the rear-mounted foam sound-absorbent padding from the frame. I repaired the separation the best I could, but there are still some spots of wear etc. Please have a close look at the pictures. I rate this speaker overall at about 6-7. I do have a Martin Logan shipping box with good packing material, so shipping it via UPS should be just fine. I will ship anywhere you want it to go through overseas shipping will be high as the box is pretty large. Plus it is configured for 115V. Local pick up is fine in Glendale, CA.
