This is a 2014 LCR MKIII that has been upgraded by Robert Morin at Lounge. It has silver buss wire on the power supply and ground lines, power supply was recapped and common mode caps were added, first gain stage bass boost cap is now Russian teflon, 4th pole has high frequency adjust pots, and hexfred diodes were added.
Robert was kind enough to write all of this on the bottom of the unit and sign it for good measure. I carefully removed the 4 cover screws to photograph the innards.
Feel free to research the benefits that these changes bring. I am very pleased and I think you will be, too. The only reason I am selling is because I needed a phono pre that supports moving coil (this only supports moving magnet and some high output moving coil carts).
Condition is at least an 8.5.
It includes the original wall wart power supply (Jameco ReliaPro Class 2 plug in transformer). I will mark the package as Signature Required due to the value of the item.
