Selling my Stax system because I am looking to upgrade. I’ve had this system for about a year and I am the original owner. I purchased them direct from Stax (imported through Woo Audio) and the amp is US voltage (120v). Excellent working condition and has no mechanical or electrical issues. Paired with the L700s (selling separately), the combination produces great detail, yet has a fairly authoritative low end contrary to common belief. The sound is lush and seductive, airy yet intimate. Snare drums have a particularly realism in the way they snap and roll. Acoustic pieces have a wonderful euphonic timbre, be it the pluck of a string or the grandeur of a piano. The amp accepts both rca and xlr inputs. I have all of the original accessories and documentation included in the original packaging. Accessories include a pair of Stax RCA cables which are actually very high quality and give really good low end out of my Hugo 2. This is my first listing on Audiogon; I've only used eBay in the past to sell audio items including a Questyle CMA600i, Chord Qutest, Sennheiser HD800s, and Audeze LCD-2C -->

Physically, there is a minor scuff in the corner of the front face plate (see pictures). It happened recently when I moved my monitor at my listening station and accidentally hit the edge of the amp. This has not affected the performance of the amp in any way and it still works like new and in total there is probably less than 200 hours of total listening time on the system. I have given an 8/10 condition due to the mark on the faceplate. It sits in a personal listening room (which is a fancy term for a big closet) that only I use. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
