I got more bass out of my speakers. The metal post is filled with proprietary material and add substantial weight. The stand weight approx. 50-60 lbs each. Once you mount the speaker with blu tak on this stand. It will make it very stable. Will include the original box, spikes and 1 1/2 inch sorbothane discs (6 pieces) for mounting between stand and speaker.
