Pair of Zu Omens for sale. I bought them six years ago from the original owner, who had them less than a year. I played the Omens for four months before calling Zu in Utah and ordering a pair of Soul Supremes to be shipped to my house. Since then (six years), they've been sitting un-used in my guest bedroom.
Rated 89 db, I've played them with a 20 watt otl Graaf amp; a 60 watt VAC PA-90 (configured to triode so 60 watts) and an 11 watt Audion integrated amp. All three drove them extremely well so you should have no problem using pretty much anything to make them sing.
Have rated them a 7/10 just to be conservative. They have all the sonic characteristics Zu is known for: rhythmic pacing, speed, and an incredibly wholistic soundstage that is THERE and fully alive.

| I see that you wrote these have a sensitivity of 89 db. Is that a typo? I think it should be 98 db, right? At least, that's what the info I found showed. This looks like a great deal, you will probably be hearing from me! yes, you're correct, 98 db. |
