Ayon Audio Spirit III Integrated Class A

Offered for sale is a very fine Spirit III integrated amplifier, serial number 06198. The craftsmanship is world class as is the sound. In its price range, I have found nothing that compares. Soundstage is deep and wide. Instruments and voices are succinctly positioned. This amp operates in either triode or pentode mode with the flip of a switch when the unit is turned off. Power rating is 2 x 40W - Triode, 2 x 65 Pentode. I have used this amp in Triode mode with Golden Ear Triton 1 Reference loudspeakers with stunning results. The amp can also be switched to function as a power amp in both Triode and Pentode mode. To those unfamiliar with Ayon Audio, please read the many reviews on their world class offerings. They are designed and manufactured in Salzburg, Austria. Please do not associate the sound of this vacuum tube offering with those that are overly warm. The sound can be characterized as very detailed with just the right amount of smoothness. NO DIGITAL OR SOLID STATE LISTENING FATIGUE! Original receipt, manual, tubes, shipping boxes, power chord, remote all included. Also included are five optional Sylvania 6SJ7 driver tubes. I've never tried them but it is my understanding they add warmth. I am the second owner. The original owner purchased the amp from USA Tube Audio on 9-25-2015. I purchased it almost one year later and have used it minimally in a smoke free, dust free dedicated listening room. The original sales price was $4500.00. They currently list for $5650.00.
