- Eight KT90s from VTL made in Yugoslavia
- a 12AT7 dual triode as a driver, with the sections paralleled to increase gain and headroom, while reducing noise and output impedance,
- a 12BH7 dual triode as a long-tailed phase inverter/splitter,
- VTL designed and built transformers, including an ultralinear output transformer with interleaved bi-filar winding for flat power response down to 5Hz and greatly reduced HF losses
- tightly regulated 550V power supply with 1650uF of capacitance, 250 joules (!) Of energy storage, and dedicated separate windings for the dual triode voltage amplifier and phase inverter.
