The preamp also touts a build-in network player, so you are fully set u to take advantage of streaming services natively from the player as well as connecting hard drives of high res files via USB!  Housing the network player within the preamp drastically reduces the signal path, breathing more life and dynamics into your music.  The preamp and power amp are connected via Ethernet, which has amazing advantages over other digital connections, namely the ability to transmit more data than previously possible.  Always on the cusp of innovation, Technics is one of the first to take advantage of this future-forward design.
