For your consideration is a very nice Halide Design DAC HD. I used this great sounding DAC in my home office/studio. Plays high resolution audio files with ease and conversion from digital to analog is really natural sounding. Here are some features which make this converter a cut above mainstream DACs.

The chip provides a voltage output, rather than a current output. This allows the chip to directly drive an analog filter stage, to roll off the high frequency switching noise.

The DAC HD is cryogenically treated to maximize the sonics. Cryogenic treatement results in a smoother, more resolved sound.
