Even though the MX119 is no longer in production, it is still very relevant given its 7.1 channel inputs, and likely superior to many other options today. I have read the MX-119's multichannel inputs were based off the McIntosh C-45 multichannel inputs, but I cannot speak with certainty about this. Please research the unit's specification on the McIntosh Labs' website.
