Original owner. The AudioMachina V8 is a broad-spectrum cartridge/tonearm vibration absorber. It contains multiple tuned titanium
cantilever beams damped with silicon oil within a small, permanently
sealed aluminum case. It is designed to be mounted directly above the cartridge and below the headshell. Tonearm counterweight will need to be
adjusted to account for the additional 3.7 grams. Subsonic cartridge/tonearm
resonance frequency will be shifted slightly lower, usually less than 1Hz, according to manufacturer.  V8 Specifications below. A review is on
