When I last used the Ops1 regularly it had an occasional shut down of the sound even though it was still on. It would come back on after a short while. I just had a knowledgeable technician describe what the likely problem is. A number of the power supply filters would need to be replaced. The labor and parts would likely be over $200. Whoever has bid on the phono preamp could retract the bid with permission of me (the seller) and Audiogon, assuming they would allow the retraction. Or they could keep the bid and do the repairs after acquiring the preamp. I would then send them the info and address of the technician.

Repair on this item could be as much as $1000.
Good sounding phono preamp. Switch knob needs tightening occasionally. Comes with separate power supply. I'm the 2nd owner of this unit. One would have to spend hundreds of $$ to get a better phono preamp. It's replacement cost me almost 2k.
