The Rotel RB-1552 mkii is built upon the same platform as the RB-1582 mkii with only a slightly smaller power output capability at 2 x 130 Watts. Balanced and unbalanced inputs. The unit was purchased November 5, 2018 and has been rarely used.. A copy of the receipt can be viewed in photos. Excellent amplifier with lots of power, huge amounts of detail, image focus and sound staging. Includes factory boxes, manual and power cord.
Used Twice:
I received the new Rotel rb-1552 mk.II amplifier shipped directly from Rotel and used with a newly purchased Goldpoint Sa2 Passive Preamplifier. Prior to my initial listening session, I hooked up both units using a Marantz Sa8005 sacd player for source pressed play and left on repeat for 48 hrs. I had 2 two extended listening sessions with fellow audiophiles and the results were phenomenal. Unfortunately/fortunately for me my main system is around 20k so I spend most of my time using it for obvious reasons :). I considered (still considering) keeping the amp as a back up in case my tube amp ever goes out but have decided to sell. The Rotel is basically a new unit and has not been registered. Save $200 off of retail for this unit.
