Audio Research 300.2 Amplifier

This amplifier is in excellent condition without nicks or scratches. It has been used very little and is like new. There are a number of good sounding amplifiers on the market that run very "hot". It is heat that destroys them so the number of hours they have been used is highly important.On the other hand, the Audio Research 300.2 amplifier runs very "cool", in fact so "cool" that it can be mounted snugly in an equipment cabinet without fear of damage.
The invoice for this amplifier, which I just found, shows it was purchased in May 2004. It is 15 years old. Most of that time, it was in storage. We sold our home, put everything in storage, and travelled full time in our new motorhome for the first 8 years. The next 5 years we spent 6 months in Hilton Head Island and 6 months here at our new home in North Carolina. For the last 2 years it has been stored upstairs ever since it was replaced by a pair of Audio Research Monoblock amplifiers (one for each channel).
Power output is 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 500 watts into 4 ohms or 600 watts into 4 ohms, one channel driven. Seller will pay the 2.9% cost for Pay Pal. Buyer to pay UPS freight.
