I have a pair of Apogee
Scintilla's for sale. If you are looking to get into Apogees this is a pair in
good condition structurally with no modifications, changes, etc. with matching
serial numbers. They will need new ribbons, socks and refurbish. The covers
will also need to be painted if you want to show them off. I may see if they
clean up some. I actually left mine alone for now to save some money and it can
always be done later. I have another pair of Scintilla's already in process for
refurbish and it makes no sense for me to keep both pair. Let me know if you
want to discuss or interested. I am new to Apogees (past couple of years) and
while a different kind of speaker approach I am hooked for obvious reasons.
Will send pictures if you are interested or welcome to come by and take a look. Rated average condition due to age and for obvious reasons of older equipment. Have no issue with full disclosure.
Scintillas do not come up often so if you are interested you know the story. I
can travel a bit (hour) to help facilitate delivery if you need it but prefer
